Empower Youth Art is founded by Baron Zhang, a young artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. Baron has been drawing and painting since he was a child as a way to express his emotions and feelings. He loves what he can create with his imagination and a paintbrush. Baron hosted his first solo exhibition in July 2025 and has published pieces in multiple art anthologies. He has won various awards for his paintings at both the regional and national levels. His work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the Celebrating Art Contest, and Las Laguna Art Gallery, among others. He also studied fine arts, drawing foundations, design foundations, and liberal arts at the Rhode Island School of Design Pre-College, as well as art history at Sotheby’s Institute of Art Pre-College. His most notable works include “Pierced by Its Own Hands,” “A Bouquet for No One,” and “Forgotten Memories.”
